For the 35 years that Ginny has lived in South Tampa she has been a serial entrepreneur. Combining an extensive retail sales and management background with exceptional creativity, she launched several national brands. She has designed women’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, textiles, and homes – while owning stores in Palm Beach, Boca Grande, and Tampa. One highlight of Ginny’s career was having Lilly Pulitzer herself call to ask her to design for the iconic brand. Fast forward many years later to the call from Studio M – where she combines all her skill sets and is the happiest she has ever been in her career.
But she will tell you that her unparalleled creation was her twin boys born when she was 47 years old, and her greatest accomplishment was raising two boys as a single mother from the time they were 7 years old. They are now about to graduate from college.
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Ginny also lived in New York and San Francisco before moving to Florida. Her passion for cooking and entertaining is balanced by singing and reading historical novels by the pool. She is an avid Anglophile and cannot wait to one day visit Great Britain. In the meantime, her favorite place has always been Nantucket.
