It seems like last year was the year that all of my friends were getting married and the trend doesn’t seem to be slowing down in 2015. Last year I saw such a range of beautiful weddings, from country club chic, to DIY savvy, and even romantically rustic, so I’m always interested to see what the overall vibe at a wedding is going to be. The bridal party and groomsmen, elaborate tablescapes, food and libations and music all have the ability to shape a wedding into a one-of-a-kind engagement that’ll be remembered for years to come.
The design is definitely in the details and Mociun White’s Brooklyn bridal retail showroom is the perfect place to find inspiration as someone planning (or helping to plan) a future wedding! What immediately captured my attention were the white walls and floors that would otherwise be stark and sterile if it weren’t for those bold splashes of primary and playful colors like blue, yellow, teal, and red to create a major statement. Mociun White’s colorful space is the furthest thing from David’s Bridal that there is, while the eclectic setting makes finding the perfect dress and accessories less daunting and more exciting.
I’ll be heading up to Charleston, South Carolina, this weekend for yet another fun-filled weekend of matrimonial bliss as two of my best pals Tom and Rachel tie the knot. I just know that this wedding will be a colorful and energetic affair that’s not to be missed. I’m confident that the bride has every little detail planned out, and I absolutely can’t wait to catch up with the bride and groom’s family and old college friends while getting to know a new group of fun-loving people there to celebrate the newlywed couple as well. Cheers, y’all!
