Mid-century modern style is more popular than ever and with everyone seemingly hooked on shows like Mad Men, it doesn’t look like this style is going anywhere anytime soon. What I love about mid-century modern style is that it’s clean and simple, yet full of character and can look great no matter your interior design style. The Eames Lounge Chair is just one of those mid-century furniture pieces that is so versatile, it fits in wonderfully inside of an edgy industrial loft or a classically chic Park Avenue penthouse!
I’m a huge fan of DWR because they really have a knack of creating beautiful spaces with furniture that has been around since the 1950’s and still can make the pieces look current and lusted after by modern furniture aficionados like myself. This year, a new black-on-black version of this iconic chair has been unveiled and it’s absolutely blowing my mind. As of right now, you can enter to win one of these black beauties by signing up here at DWR online until the end of July. The ebonized ash wood and black leather upholstery looks sleek and sexy, and I absolutely need it in my life!
Although nothing in my apartment is black and my sofa is brown leather, you’d better believe that if I won this bad boy that I’d be throwing some Ikea stuff right off my patio and into the dumpster to make room for its arrival! I can totally picture myself relaxing in my living room in my sleek new Eames Lounge Chair with my feet up, sipping a cocktail and channeling my inner-Frasier. I’ll be sure to take a picture of that and share it
once if I win, but until then, check out these gorgeous home interiors that are sporting some seriously sharp Eames Lounge Chair looks.
