When it comes to designing your own workspace, there aren’t too many other brands that come to mind as being as perfectly stylish as Kate Spade. The highly regarded apparel and accessories lifestyle brand has branched out into a new moneymaker that seems to be raking in the dough, and that’s their adorably chic office supplies and desk accessories. Kate Spade has everything to turn your desk from drab to fab, including gold and Lucite supplies to perfectly patterned stationery and correspondence cards.
An overall theme that I love noticing when I visit their stores is that Kate Spade loves gold, pink, and black and white. There’s really nothing more glam than a gold and Lucite combo, but when you pair it with a black and white stripe or polka dot pattern (something Kate Spade obviously considers a neutral) the design jumps to a whole other level of perfection. As a women’s specialty retailer, there seems to be quite a bit of pink happening that’s reminiscent of fresh flowers (an essential element of an inspiring workspace, if you ask me!)
Infusing gold and Lucite is something that doesn’t take much to transform your plain ‘ole boring desk at work. Kate Spade has this amazing collection of desktop accessories that combine these two perfectly complementary materials together flawlessly, including a stapler, tape dispenser, letter tray, and pencil cup. If you’re into mixing high-and-low, grab Nate Berkus’ gold Swingline stapler or jumbo paperclips from Target. There’s also a company called Russell + Hazel who makes a must-have acrylic and gold clipboard, perfect for meetings or having around the office!
Whether you’re bored with your home office or want to fall in love with your workspace at work all over again, spruce up your surroundings by taking some inspiration from a few of my favorite Kate Spade-inspired looks from around the Internet!
